From Dentistry to Dental Marketing

Chairside Marketing was built after around twelve years of working as a dental hygienist in Manchester. That time inside practices made it clear how often good marketing spend produces unclear results: traffic without enquiries, reports without attribution, and campaigns with no visibility into what actually converts.

Moving into SEO and healthcare marketing professionally brought the tools to address those gaps directly. The focus from the start has been patient enquiries and the systems that capture, track and follow them up, rather than visibility metrics that do not connect to booked appointments.

We work with experienced software engineers and marketeers to deliver across SEO, Google Ads, dental website design and AI-assisted follow-up. We remain GDC registered and work exclusively with dental practices in the UK.

Why Practice-Side Experience Changes the Marketing Conversation

Dental marketing is not the same as marketing a generic service business. The difference shows in which metrics get prioritised, which assumptions get challenged and which recommendations actually make sense for a practice.

  • We understand patient enquiries, not just traffic

Knowing which treatments patients search for, how they make decisions and what makes them enquire rather than leave is different from knowing how to increase a session count. Dental practice experience shapes which metrics we focus on.

  • We understand treatment pages and patient intent

A page about dental implants needs to answer the questions a patient actually has before they enquire, not just include the keyword. Understanding patient intent from the inside changes how we write and structure treatment content.

  • We understand reception follow-up and missed opportunities

We know how busy reception is and how easy it is for enquiries to slip between first contact and a booked appointment. That shapes how we approach AI-assisted follow-up, call tracking and lead visibility.

  • We understand the difference between visibility and booked appointments

A page one ranking for a treatment keyword is useful. A page one ranking that generates trackable, followed-up patient enquiries is the goal. Those are different things, and we focus on the second.

A Clearer Way to Work With a Dental Marketing Agency

We work with a small number of dental practices at a time so the focus stays on results rather than volume. Here is what that looks like in practice.

  • No vague monthly reports with impressions and sessions as the headline

  • No vanity metrics presented without the context of what they mean for enquiries

  • No AI hype: only practical automation with a clear purpose

  • Clear priorities set at the start and updated as results come in

  • Practical recommendations explained in plain language, not jargon

  • Focus on calls, forms and trackable patient enquiry opportunities
